The Trip Planner API has multiple endpoints that offer different capabilities and simplifies a lot of the functions that are popular in public transport apps. This makes developing your application much easier and faster. One of the most popular function requests and questions that we receive is about the departure board. Now, thanks to the Trip Planner API, building your own departure board is relatively easy, providing you are familiar with some PHP and basic HTML and CSS styling.
Driver and Vehicle System (DRIVES) Data Release
Our latest open data release, available from 1 August 2022, features 14 new datasets that provide road-related statistical information from Transport for NSW’s Driver and Vehicle System (DRIVES): Vehicle Registration Statistics, Driver Licence Statistics, Driver Licence Sanction Statistics, Driver Licence Test Statistics, Mobility Parking Permit Statistics and Photo Card Statistics.
Car Park API Real Time and Historic Occupancy on the Open Data Hub
The Transport for NSW Car Park API provides real time occupancy of selected Transport Park&Ride and Sydney Metro car parks across Greater Sydney, with historical occupancy data for each car park available from its date of integration into the API.
